Questions

Does an electric BYD need servicing?

Yes. There is no engine oil, but the AC, coolant, brakes, brake fluid, cabin filter, suspension and 12V battery all need regular care. We follow BYD's schedule.

Do you repair the high-voltage battery?

Not at the moment. We look after everything around it, and if a fault needs the high-voltage system, we will tell you honestly.

Do you service BYD plug-in hybrids?

Yes. DM-i models such as the Song Plus, Qin Plus, Tang and Shark have a petrol engine that needs oil, filters and spark plugs on schedule. We service them like any engine, plus the hybrid checks.
